Miramar

Surati Farsan Mart

After I discovered this restaurant at one of our book club meetings, I've been raving about it! It's cheap, delicious and vegetarian!

I finally had a chance to return today and brought Dennis with me. After walking in, I got a bit confused because it was much larger with nicer dining tables/chairs than what I had remembered. It'd only been a month or two since my first visit and now this? One of the servers informed me that they had remodeled. Well done Surati because it looked great!

We ordered three of their popular items.

Pastalini

Erin from Citysearch has a weekly spot on Channel 933 every Thursday morning to talk about must-try restaurants.  Last week, she recommended Pastalini, a cheap new restaurant in Miramar.  Think Subway, but for pasta!

Taste of Lebanon

This restaurant is located right behind Carl’s Jr in the food plaza. Its a small but comfortable place. Hai and I decided to eat here because I wanted to try something in Miramar. I don’t eat in Miramar that often so I thought it would be a great opportunity to review some place new!

Today I ordered the Combination plate for $7.99. It includes beef, chicken, and kafta kabobs with basmati rice, hummus, salad, and pita bread.

Abbey's Real Texas BBQ

Lynn and I decided to eat here because we had a Clipper Magazine coupon for this place. It was a buy one, get one free deal with the purchase of two drinks. And since our meals already came with drinks (part of the combo), the deal was even sweeter!
