An action packed week of festivities for your inner foodie and wine lover!

We were driving back from Lake Tahoe and had to stop at Sweet Lumpy's BBQ, but as we drove into Old Town Temecula, I noticed that a new restaurant was in its place.  Luckily, with help from an iPhone, we discovered that they had moved a few blocks away, so we got back into our cars and away we went!

San Diego's most prominent Taste returns to downtown for the tenth consecutive year. Participants will stroll through each corner of downtown San Diego and taste a wide variety of the best cuisine the city has to offer. The Taste of Downtown will take place on Thursday, September 24th, 2009 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

As a special Comic Con treat, I went with my sister and a friend to Nobu in downtown San Diego for dinner.  It is definitely a hot spot.  It was packed with Con go-ers and party people.  Don't worry, most of the geeks are gone by now =)
