San Diego Restaurant Week 2015 - preview
It's about that time again. San Diego Restaurant Week for the fall starts on September 20 through September 27, 2015. Over 180 restaurants are participating! Check out your favorite restaurants or try something new! The prix fixe lunches are either $10, $15, or $20 and the prix fixe dinners are either $20, $30, $40 or $50!
The theme of Restaurant Week is "Celebrate Local" and I was able to check out a few samples ahead of time at the SDRW Launch Party at Go Green Acres. Browse the tasty creations below and something may inspire you to check out a new or old restaurant favorite!
Get a kick out of the tomato gazpacho with olive tapenade on a caper crostini from Blue Point Coastal Cuisine.
Sink your teeth into the stake tartare from Stake Chophouse & Bar.
Savor the squash blossom quesadilla from Cafe Coyote.
Dig into a 48 Hour Pork Chilorio Sope from D Bar Restaurant.
Have a party in your mouth with sweet melon and savory pork belly from Parq Restaurant & Nightclub.
Taste the tenderness and texture of the Sous Vide Flat Iron from The Patio.
Delight in the delicate squash potsticker with roasted corn cream from Terra American Bistro.
Refreshing and delicious is what you'd say about the local asian pear & medjool date salad from Tidal Seasonal Craft & Catch.
Spiced Ahi with furikake rice, wasabi cream and ginger soy is an asian inspiration from Peohe's Coronado Waterfront.
A dependable delight is of the chicken avocado and mango burrito kind at Casa de Bandini.
Change it up with the charred local opah from Cowboy Star Restaurant & Butcher Shop.
A clever contrast of cucumber and quinoa in the salmon poke is from The Blind Burro.
Pop this juicy Duck Foot IPA Brat from Sausage & Meat into your mouth.
A fun finish would be the peanut butter mousse with figs or a smore pie from Park Hyatt Aviara.
San Diego Restaurant Week has so many foodie options not even listed here! Make your reservations now before spots fill up at your favorite places!
In addition, do your part to help with the Food 4 Kids Campaign:

Looks fun! You've done so many "taste of" and sampling events this year - I haven't made it to any so far, we'll have to get together sometime! :) I also don't think I'll be going to RW this year since I'll be in Berkeley for most of the week. Have fun, though!
this one was a really good one because it was not crowded. enjoy berkeley and i hope to read about it on your blog!
Mmm, melon and pork belly, that woke me up just looking at it this morning! I was bummed I couldn't make it to this but at least I can live vicariously through you. I just got a Groupon for S&M so I can try that beyond RW.
I considered buying one too but now they are sold out on both groupon and livingsocial. oh well... i'll just read about it on your blog unless we decided to hit it up anyway.
