Yummy Highlights of 2015
It's true. We've done A LOT of eating and drinking this year at Oh-So Yummy. That's just how us food bloggers roll. Before we post our first official review this year, we wanted to share some highlights from the archives!
So what was popular in 2015?
The post on Korean BBQ AYCE at Manna Korean BBQ got the most consistent traffic.
The biggest spike in traffic hit our Bracero Cocina de Raiz post. It's well deserved because it's also Dennis's favorite restaurant from last year.
These chowder fries from Ironside Fish & Oyster Bar got the most likes on INSTAGRAM. Follow us (ohsoyummyreview) for more!

Restaurant Highlights 2015
Everyone loves a good happy hour and La Puerta in downtown San Diego worked out great for us! For a spin on tacos, check out these flavorful tikka tacos from Curry World.
We were total gluttons during San Diego Burger Week but this cluckmoo from Henry's Pub was completely worth it. For a lighter sandwich, we recommend the Swine (smoked pork) Submarine from Soda & Swine!
The wings at our favorite Vietnamese restaurant Pho Ban Mai never disappoint us! The tastiest fried chicken we ate was from Crest Cafe.
Dennis's favorite BBQ was from Harmon's BBQ while I lean more toward Coops West Texas BBQ.
I was totally loving this decadent Truffle Egg Toast from Davanti Enoteca. Another good dish with an egg was the Frisee Salad from Sbicca.
Dennis was torn between his favorite salmon dish... the one at Pacifica Del Mar or the one at Bice Ristorante. Both had a marvelous crispy skin to them! The ravioli from Bice was definitely a winner though!

Travel Highlights 2015:
We posted about our travel to California, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, and Texas. Here's two of my favorite posts.
Birthday trip to Catalina Island!
Event Highlights 2015
The event with the BEST VALUE was the Harborfest Tacos and Spirits Revolution. It was $15 for unlimited tacos and only $20 with drinks included. Fantastic price for delicious food and drinks.
The runnerup event was Taste N Tinis with early bird tickets for $20 or $30 day of. I'm seriously a sucker for all those tasty martinis...
San Diego (and SoCal) got hit by some crazy El Niño rain this week. Thinking back, there was ONE event (Lemon Zest and Garlic Fest) where it also rained cats and dogs. I found amazing garlic fried rice from Chesa Kusina while getting drenched.
I love this photo Dennis took from Cafe Sevilla at the Latin Food Fest and this artsy photo I took at Witchcreek Winery during the Carlsbad Food Tour.
San Diego has multiple "Taste of" events that we attended. They are all great events for the neighborhood:
- Taste of Adams Avenue
- Taste of Hillcrest
- Taste of Little Italy
- Taste of Old Town
- Tuesday Taste of North Park
The fanciest event we attended was the St. Regis Food Wine & Jazz Grand Tasting.
