Noodles & Company - Free Summer Salad to first 50 on June 7th 2012

Just picked up my free salad from Noodles  & Company today!

Today, June 7th 2012, Noodles & Company is running their second summer salad promotion where they offered the first 50 people in line one free salad plus three special garden stakes for free salad to share with friends! Their first promotion last year had a similar concept where a free salad was offered but instead of a garden stake, there were large green "I'm a Salad" tee shirts! The back of each shirt had 10 lines for up to 10 different people to try a salad for free!

I selected the newest salad: Chili-Lime & Ginger Salad with Seared Chicken but they also had two other choices: Spinach & Fresh Fruit Salad and Backyard Barbecue Chicken Salad.

It's a very fresh salad with plenty of raw vegetables and some rice noodles with black sesame. I liked the two sauces that were included: one was a chili-lime oil dressing and the other was a sticky sweet ginger sauce. For my personal preference, I'm not as big into so many raw vegetables but this could be a plus for others. I'd recommend trying their Backyard Barbecue Chicken Salad, which I tried last year and LOVED! Fresh kernels of corn from the cob plus tasty chicken and other goodies is a winner in my book!
