San Diego Food Truck Festival 2011

San Diego had its first Food Truck Festival at Del Mar on August 20 2011 from 12-6 and we just HAD to go! The non-food costs were $10 parking (unless you took the free shuttle) and $6 admission to the racetracks (or $3 if you sign up for the free Diamond Club membership for 18+). Opera Cafe and Patisserie

Opera Cafe and Patisserie is a very popular restuarant with a very busy weekday lunch!  I'm sure a lot of its traffic comes from the Sorrento Valley tech companies nearby like Qualcomm!  I actually met for lunch with a friend who works at Qualcomm.

Dennis and I have been to this restaurant a few times but realized that we have never done our own review of the place!  In our experience, the food has always been more than satisfactory and it brings back romantic memories (our engagement last year started at dinner here).
