I have no idea what this is but my coworker ordered it and was awful. It came out over seasoned and very soggy. I think its supposed to be sweet potato fries but it oiliness killed its natural flavor.

Instead traditional onion rings, this place serves onion wedges! Its a fantastic idea because I often bite into onion rings and find that the onion ring inside gets pulled or falls out of the crispy shell.

Jalepeno Pepperjack Burger. It may look small but it packs a mean punch! The burger is quite spicey and goes well with the light horseradish-mayo dipping sauce. The only downside to this burger is that the bun is quite plain.

I bought a gift card at Costco which I can use at over 100 restaurants in San Diego. Burger Lounge was one of the restaurants listed and it caught my eye. Unfortunately, when I went, I did not have my camera. These pictures are from a cell phone.

Grilled Lounge Burger with American Cheese ($6.95). “All natural beef, crisp iceberg lettuce, tomato, and house-made 1000 island.”

1/2 and 1/2 Onion Rings and Hand Cut Fries ($4.95) and Grilled Turkey Burger with Fresh Basil and Cheddar Cheese ($6.95). I did not like the traditionally made French fries. They are extra crispy on the outside which makes it seem like they’re hollow inside. The portion was small. I’m not a fan of onion rings, but these did look larger than others. Both burgers were plentiful. My turkey burger was dripping with juices. It was delicious, but I’ve had others which were just as good and less expensive.

We also had a Chocolate Shake ($4.95). It wasn’t a thick shake. It was a little watered down. Chili’s has a thick and frosty chocolate shake with chocolate sprinkles for under $4.

I’m sorry, but I do not expect to pay $25 for burgers for two at a place where I walk up to the counter to order. Also, the menu is limited. They offer 3 burgers, chicken tenders, fries, onion rings, and 3 salads. For about $7, you can go to Carl’s Jr and get a Double Western Bacon Cheeseburger with large fries and a large drink. The service will be faster and you’ll save some money.

3 Egg Omelette Plate Farmer Style
(3 egg Omelette Plate - Farmer Style)

I ordered this because I was really hungry but we didn’t realize just how big it was! The omelette plate came with three eggs that was mixed with ham and veggies and came with a side of hash brown potatoes and two slices of toast. Inside of the omelette was even more potatoes which sorta made the overall taste a bit repetitive. Fortunately, the hash had a tasty hint of butter that didn’t make it too tiring.

Chili Cheeseburger
(Chili Cheeseburger Combo)

The chili burger was pretty good but it was not the best. It was definitely decent but Lynn doesn’t eat chiliburgers enough to compare them to. The fries had great thickness and taste to them. Altogether, Lynn liked the chiliburger more than the omelette that I got.

I was in the mood for a boba drink and remembered there was some drink shop in the food court off of mira mesa and camino santa fe. I dont remember what it was called but i think it might have been quickly or something with a “q”…

well anyway, i got there and discovered that quicklys was no longer there and had been replaced by another drink shop called Ocha Cafe. Upon entering the restaurant, i was warmly welcomed and introduced to something they call the “rice burger.”

bam! your choice of either beef, chicken or tofu on a bed of rice molded into the shape of hamburger buns. i decided to get the beef along with the combo of grape tea and fries.

Beef Rice Burger w/ Spicy Sauce ($7.00?)

The fries were hot, fresh, and crispy. It was pretty good in the beginning but then i started to get tired of it. There was too much seasoning towards the bottom. As for the Beef Rice Burger, it was good, interesting, and quite innovative. I havent seen a rice burger anywhere else and they claim to be the only ones who make it.

The owner recommended that I try the chicken rice burger next time, which I most certainly will.

#606 123-Bypass Seguin, Texas 78155. (830) 379 - 6031

Kirby’s Korner is considered the best burger joint in Seguin, possibly in all of Texas! I would say their burgers are even better than the ones served in most sit-down restaurants. And their prices are much cheaper too!

Hickory Burger

I ordered the Specialty Kirby Burger ($4.69) which includes mayo, lettuce, tomato, bacon, mushroom, and swiss cheese. Lynn ordered the Hickory Burger (4.19) which had bbq suace, cheddar, bacon, grilled onion, and pickles. It was trice times better than my burger, which is supposed to be one of the local favorites. The cajun fries that we ordered were a bit soggy, but that was our fault. We didn’t eat the fries until about 15 minutes after we go the order because we were busy driving around.

I’m actually hoping to have another chance to try a few other burgers on the menu before I leave town.  Hopefully they will also be just as good!
